5.7 million 3G terminals in Brazil
The National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) released the preliminary numbers of 3G cell phones for June and also revised the numbers for May again.
Thus, in May, Brazil had 5.3 million 3G mobile phones and in June it reached 5.7 million and with that the participation of each technology became:
WCDMA: 1.19%
EVDO: 0.16%
Data terminal : 2.26%
* Anatel promoted in Mar / 09 a classification review of 3G modems that were not all being counted in data terminals.
